Bio: My name is Jake Carey and I’m 19. I am an English writing major that will minor is either philosophy or psychology. I plan on doing something with publishing/editing in the future, which is one of the reasons why I joined the Brushfire team. I also love reading other peoples work because it usually gives me ideas or inspiration for something of my own. The staff is a lot of fun too and it’s just a fun experience. It does get hectic, but in the end when you see the final product it’s all worth it.
